Soil and Vineyards
La Plantadeta estate in the town of La Vilella Baixa. Slate and calcareous clay soil between 300 and 500 meters of altitude.
Harvest
Harvested in mid-September, selecting the oldest Cariñena grapes.
Production
Fermentation in small deposit with its skins, daily manual punch-downs.
Aged for 8 months in egg-shaped clay pot.
Graduation: 14.5%
Production limited to 500l per vintage.

Tasting Notes
High-layered ruby color with brightness, on the nose we find notes of ripe cherry and currant, giving way to notes of dehydrated fruit providing aromatic complexity. On the palate, it presents a vibrant acidity that envelops the palate, round tannins of medium astringency, pleasant on the palate, finish of ripe red fruits with hints of chalk, very round and balanced. Ideal to accompany fatty meats and pastas due to its aromatic complexity and vibrant acidity.
