Soil and Vineyards
La Plantadeta estate in the town of La Vilella Baixa. Calcareous and slate soil between 300 and 500 meters above sea level.
Harvest
Harvested in early September, selecting the old Garnacha vines.
Production
Fermentation/maceration with skins for about 25 days in stainless steel tanks with a cold jacket. Malolactic fermentation is carried out before being transferred to barrels.
Aging: 13 months in French Oak barrels
Bottle aging: 1 year before being released to the market.
Alcohol content: 15%
Tasting Notes
Cherry red color, clean, bright with violet tones. Aromas of red fruits with very pleasant and well-integrated wood notes. The palate has a sweet and smooth entry, with a round and pleasant finish.
