60-year-old Garnacha and Cariñena vines.
Soil and Vineyards
Licorella soil between 300 and 500 meters above sea level.
Harvest
Harvested manually in the La Plantadeta estate in the morning in 15kg boxes.
Production
Destemmed with a small machine immediately upon arrival at the winery. Fermentation/maceration of about 30 days in stainless steel tanks with a cooling jacket. It undergoes malolactic fermentation before being transferred to barrels.
Aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels.
Alcohol content: 15.5%
Tasting Notes
Dark red color, intense. Abundant tears. Balsamic and spicy aromas (vanilla, cinnamon) where the fruit stands out at the end. The palate has a pleasant and elegant entry, an intense evolution and finish.
