Our winery, located in Vilella Baixa, is part of the <strong>D.O.Q. Priorat<\/strong>, recognized worldwide for obtaining high-quality wines with a strong personality, the result of the special climatic conditions to which its vineyards are subjected: abundance of sun, little rain, and slate soils that give a low productivity. <\/p><p>We are a family winery, and each wine we produce is born from our own land. All the grapes come from our own vineyards, cultivated with patience and respect, just as our ancestors did. <\/p><p>Our history dates back to 1910, when <strong>Jaume Sabat\u00e9 Alentorn<\/strong>, great-grandfather of the current generation, began to market the wine that his family already produced at home. Years later, in 1927, he acquired <strong>La Plantadeta<\/strong>, a farm near the village of Vilella Baixa, where our wines and products are born today. <\/p><p>Between 1980-1990 Jaume Sabat\u00e9 Mestre, the third generation, took over the reins of the business, adapting to the new times, moving from bulk marketing to bottling, changing part of the philosophy up to that moment.<br><br>These were the beginnings of Celler Sabat\u00e9; since 1910, the Sabat\u00e9 family has never stopped making wines. With more than 15 hectares in production, including vineyards, olive trees, almond trees, and some walnut trees, and 6 ha of forest, with a difference in altitude of more than 85 meters, it is the largest estate in the municipality of Vilella Baixa. <\/p><p> <\/p><p>In <em>La Plantadeta<\/em>, we cultivate Garnacha and Cari\u00f1ena to produce red wines, and Garnacha Blanca and Moscatel for the white wines. Our wines are born from this unique estate, recognized for their quality within the D.O.Q. Priorat and awarded by the specialized press. <\/p><p> <\/p><p>Recently, we have rehabilitated an area of the farm where there were almond trees to replant in 2025 five small terraces with 500 vines of white Cari\u00f1ena, a variety planted as a complement to our white Grenache, to bring balance and freshness to the wine.<\/p><p>We cultivate our vineyard in goblet form, always seeking the correct maturity in the grape&#8217;s grain and skin as a whole, with a good concentration of polyphenols and sugars.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>We do not forget the olive trees, some of which are centuries old, which produce high-quality Arbequina olives, cultivated on terraces and also on the Solaneta estate, where stone is the protagonist.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>The land, the climate, the orography, and more than a century of dedication make the wines and oils of <em>Plantadeta<\/em> unique and exclusive, with a personality that distinguishes them within the region.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
